Being Romanian means to die for Romania. Romanian, in my opinion, equals saint.

To live outside of sin – that is spiritual freedom: one`s sinlessness.

Freedom does not mean doing one`s will because many times that will is the devil`s. Freedom is proven in a man`s discernment, one`s capability to choose between good and bad. Man must be aware of the fact that only in Truth one can live free, for in this world there is also much untruth, which he must shun. On the cross the soul earns the true freedom.

Man must live like a bird, where there is full freedom. Just as a bird from the heights sees the smallness of the earth, so too man in freedom is able to see his own sinfulness.

Do you believe there is any difference between this [modern] prison and the communist one? My dears, there is no difference. There could be communism or neo-communism, under Ceauşescu or under Iliescu, or under any other, a prisoner remains a prisoner. Thus we see that this art and wit at which these masters of the world have arrived, got to transpose within our minds communism as democracy, censorship as liberty, so that they managed to perfect this demonic art, the art of lying. We live in the era of lies and deceit, nothing is authentic anymore, neither us as persons, nor the plants or the food we eat, all is modified and unnatural. They work with information and disinformation to such a degree, that you don`t know which is the real side of things. To distinguish truth from lies today is hard even to the spiritually steadfast; great attention and awakefulness are needed to know the enemy in front of us. He is the father of lies himself and he is gathering in the laboratory of lies all the tools through which he works and which he ceaselessly compromises. They use these techniques for a very important purpose: to induce confusion. Through doubt and confusion everything is annulled, even the very base upon which an entire civilization was fundamented, meaning there is both such a moral and a spiritual decay of man, that he no longer lives as a human being, but rather in a depersonalization of his being. This is their purpose, to bring manking in a state of faithlessness. The devil, man`s death enemy, succeeded to disinherit man of all the qualities with which man was endowed in heaven.
